Thank you for your understanding of the loss of the transformer, power loss, and resulting school closure for Wednesday, May 30th. 

It is unfortunately not possible to reschedule the honors day programs, which would have been held today (May 30th).  Students will receive their certificates from their teachers in their classrooms tomorrow - Thursday, May 31st.

Here is the plan for tomorrow by grade level:

6th Grade

• The 6th grade field trip to Swing n' Things will go on as scheduled.
• Students are permitted (not required) to bring their cell phones and use them while at Swings 'n Things.
• Students must bring their own lunch to Swings ‘n Things.
• Students may bring money for snacks, drinks, game tokens, and/or  batting cage tokens.
• Here is the schedule for the 6th graders for tomorrow:
  • Explorer Classes: 1st & 2nd Period
  • 3rd Period Class - PBIS Reward Raffle Activity - 10:15-11:00 AM
  • Depart for Swings ‘n Things - 11:00 AM
  • Swings ‘n Things - 11:10-2:55 PM
  • Lunch at Swings ‘n Things - Students need a brown bag lunch
  • Students not going to Swings 'n Things and staying back at OFMS will have lunch from 12:21-12:51 PM
  • No PE classes
  • Locker Clean out - 3:10-3:30 PM
  • Dismissal - 3:30 PM

7th Grade

• The 7th grade field trip to Buckeye Lanes will go on as scheduled.
• Students are permitted (not required) to bring their cell phones and use them while at Buckeye Lanes.
• Students may bring money for snacks and drinks.
• Here is the schedule for the 7th graders for tomorrow:
  • Bowling: Eagle &  Hawk Teams - 8:40-11:10 AM
  • 7th Period  Class - Activity: Falcon Team - 8:40-11:10 AM
  • Lunch - 11:10-11:40 AM
  • Students not going bowling and staying back at OFMS will have lunch from 11:10-11:40 AM
  • Bowling: Falcon Team - 11:40-1:50 PM
  • 7th Period  Class - Activity: Eagle &  Hawk Teams  - 11:50-1:50 PM
  • Explorer Classes: 6th & 7th Periods
  • No PE classes
  • Locker Clean Out - 3:10-3:30 PM
  • Dismissal - 3:30 PM

8th Grade

• The 8th grade promotion program will go on as scheduled.
• Students are encouraged to dress up and to use good taste and represent themselves in a positive manner. We prefer students not wear jeans or shorts. 
• Students are permitted (not required) to bring their cell phones and use them while at the breakfast and after the promotion program.
• Here is the schedule for the 8th graders for tomorrow:
  • Report to 1st Period by 8:30 AM
  • Breakfast - 8:45-9:15 AM
  • Time Capsules in STAR - 9:15-9:50 AM
  • Lined up in the main hall by 10:00 AM
  • Promotion Program - 10:15-12:00 PM
  • Locker Clean Out with Parents/Families - 12:00-12:20 PM
  • Students dismissed after locker clean out
  • No Explorer or PE classes
