As the Technology Director, Joe Magrey oversees the operations of the network, servers,
and applications for Olmsted Falls City Schools. Mr. Magrey is responsible for the purchasing,
planning and technical support for all buildings within the district including our five schools,
the Board of Education and Transportation.
Mr. Magrey started his career working for several Fortune 500 computer and data
storage companies in the business sector. He has been with the district since 2002.
The district supports several hosted websites along with in-house applications for
more than 1,000 PC’s for students, teachers and support staff.
Currently, a district network upgrade is being performed to accommodate growing needs.
Over the past few years, Mr. Magrey directed the technology implementation during two
separate construction projects at the Intermediate School and Middle School buildings.
Joe is married to his wife, Joanne, and they have raised three children. He is an active, life-time
resident of the City of Brooklyn where he has served as Councilman and supporter of schools.
