December 4, 2019
I am emailing as a follow-up to my last update. As promised, I am providing you with the confirmed schedule of community information meetings we will be hosting in the weeks ahead. It is critically important that we ensure our community has multiple opportunities to connect, be informed and ask any questions about the upcoming operating levy.
I invite you to join me at any one of the following Community Information Meetings:
Monday, December 16th
Thursday, January 16th
Thursday, January 30th
Monday, February 10th
All meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Room 606 at Olmsted Falls High School. Please note that I will be making the same presentation at each of the above sessions, and all sessions will include an opportunity for Q & A dialogue.
Additionally, for any community resident not able to attend who is interested in hosting a smaller gathering or meeting with me individually, please call 440-427-6001 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule. Our goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible to personally connect face-to-face with residents to discuss the upcoming levy.
I also want to let you know that the district has created an information center on our website featuring detailed information on the March 17, 2020 operating levy. I encourage you to explore this new section of the district's website by visiting www.ofcs.net and clicking on the "March 2020 Operating Levy Information" tab, located near the top of the home page. Here residents will find an overview of the operating levy - Know the Facts: Olmsted Falls City Schools March 17, 2020 Ballot Issue - as well as links to:
- Community Information Meeting Schedule
- Frequently Asked Questions
- Local Media Coverage (Cleveland.com; 12/4/19)
- Estimated Cost Chart
Additionally, I invite you to click HERE to read a blog post I published earlier today with my thoughts on school funding and school district rankings.
In closing, I want to extend my personal and sincere thanks to all of those who have reached out via phone, email and in person--both with your questions and to express your support. Please continue to reach out to me in the days and weeks ahead. I am working hard to respond to every question. Keeping our Bulldog community informed is of the utmost priority to me. I can be reached via my direct line at (440) 427-6001 or via email at email@example.com.
