DISTRICT RELEASES RESULTS OF MAY DISTANCE LEARNING SURVEY; PREPARES TO PUSH OUT REOPENING SURVEY TO FAMILIES IN JULY (Posted 6/25/20)

Thank you to all of our Bulldog parents and guardians who took time to participate in the OFCS Distance Learning Feedback Survey back in May. Your thoughts and feedback are important to us and we appreciate your time. The district’s Distance Learning Survey sought feedback on: Communication, Amount of Student Work, Student Time Completing Assignments and Adult Support, Family Perception of Support, Student Connectedness and Technology. The results have been reviewed and compiled in a report that has just been released.

We invite you to review the executive summary and individual building results by clicking HERE.

While we continue to await guidance from the Governor’s office regarding what school will look like this fall, having this initial input from our families is a valuable resource. Following the July 4th holiday, we will again be seeking feedback from our families. An important survey regarding the reopening of our schools will be finalized once we receive direction from the Governor. This reopening survey will address a variety of aspects and potential scenarios around reopening, and will be pushed out to all Bulldog parents and guardians. The information gathered from the upcoming reopening survey – coupled with the information from the May Distance Learning Survey – will be important tools as we plan for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.

Thank you again for your continuing support and for partnering with us to share your feedback during these unprecedented times.
