2024 PROM TICKETING AND INFORMATION

We are excited to be able to share Prom information with you for the venue you selected, Mapleside Farms! So many people have worked hard to ensure that May 18, 2024 will be an amazing night for you and your friends.

In order to help ticket sales run smoothly, PLEASE read over this information thoroughly BEFORE you purchase your prom ticket(s). Tickets will be available for purchase between March 29 and April 28 at 11:59pm. Absolutely no tickets will be sold after April 28, as we need to give our FINAL count to the caterer. This is a deadline that we must adhere to and we cannot make any exceptions.

Additionally, if you owe school fees, you cannot purchase Prom tickets until those fees have been paid off. If you happen to purchase Prom tickets anyway, you will not be allowed on the bus if your school fees are not paid. There will be no exceptions and no refunds. Any questions, see Mrs. Albert in the Student Office.

If you follow these directions step by step for ticket purchases, you should not have any issues.

Step 1:

Read the letter from Mr. Spagnola regarding Prom. The letter is attached to this email and contains important information.

Step 2:

Go to the ticket website:

https://ofcs.hometownticketing.com/embed/all?depts=5

Click on “Get tickets.” Select your bus number and the number of tickets that you are purchasing. You cannot purchase more than TWO tickets. Also, BUS SELECTIONS WILL NOT BE CHANGED! Click "Check Out" and complete the payment process.

Make sure that the guest details on the payment page are correct and are not in your parent's name. Please make sure to put your name and (if applicable) your date’s name as the guests.

The payment information may be in your parent's name.

Step 3:

If you are bringing a guest from another school, print out the guest form and the guest emergency medical form, which are attached to Mr. Spagnola's letter. There are NO paper copies of these forms - they must be printed out. Do not wait until the last minute!  NO GUESTS OVER THE AGE OF 20 ARE PERMITTED. If your guest is in college, a "principal's signature," as stated on the guest form, is not necessary. However, the rest of the form needs to be complete.

Step 4:  Click on the hyperlinked words, "Google Form." You will need to complete the Google Form.  THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT!!  EVERY OFHS senior that attends prom needs to complete this form for themselves and their date.  Since you are able to purchase tickets separately, it is very hard for us to figure out who your date is if you did not fill out the Google Form.  If you do not buy your date’s tickets, we do not know who your date is.  If every SENIOR fills out the Google Form, we will know who the coupling is.

If you are bringing a guest who DOES NOT ATTEND OFHS, the guest form and their guest ID will need to be uploaded to this site. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Question: "How do I upload my guest's required documents?"

Answer: You can take a picture of each item, save them as a .jpeg and upload them...OR....you can scan them, save them in .pdf format and upload them.

Question: "What is an acceptable form of a guest ID?"

Answer: School ID, drivers license, state ID. Worse comes to worse, a photo of them by themselves standing in front of a plain background.

Frequent Questions & Concerns…

Question: "I accidentally signed up for Bus 2 but I want to be on Bus 5 with my friend group. Can I switch buses?"

Answer: There is no bus switching.

Question: "My date and I broke up and I don't want to ride on the same bus with them. Can I switch to a new bus?"

Answer: No

Question: "My date and I broke up and their name is on the guest form. What should I do?"

Answer: Try to find another date. If you find another date from another school, make sure that his/her/their guest information has been uploaded. E-mail Mrs. Radigan or Mrs. Des Forges with your changes (bradigan@ofcs.net)

If you do not find another date, e-mail Mrs. Radigan and Mrs. Des Forges and kindly ask for a refund on one of the tickets. The service charge included in the ticket price (approximately $5) will not be refunded. Refunds will not be granted after April 28th. This is a firm deadline.

Question: "Do I HAVE to take the bus?"

Answer: Yes

Question: "I want to attend Post Prom. How do I purchase tickets?"

Answer: You can purchase tickets for Post Prom on the same website that you purchase Prom tickets! Mrs. Radigan and Mrs. Des Forges do not handle Post Prom and unfortunately cannot answer your questions. Email ofhspostprom2024@gmail.com with any questions.

We wish you a magical evening! Please e-mail with any questions that have not been answered in this information.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Radigan and Mrs. Des Forges
