As superintendent of Olmsted Falls School District, Dr. Jim Lloyd works with staff, parents, students and residents to ensure the school district’s continuing success.  Dr. Lloyd shares with the dedicated Bulldog staff a common desire to provide students with an educational experience which will prepare them to be leaders for a future that is fast-changing, digital and global.

Olmsted Falls School District is committed to providing students with a comprehensive “Triple A” experience which develops and fosters their Academic, Artistic and Athletic growth.  As a school district, Olmsted Falls believes in and takes great pride in the academic and extra-curricular performances of our students, and is committed to the development of the whole child.

Dr. Lloyd began his tenure as superintendent of Olmsted Falls School District in August 2013. Prior to taking the helm as superintendent, Dr. Lloyd served as Olmsted Falls School District’s assistant superintendent for six years.  He was previously director of pupil services for neighboring Westlake City School District for nine years. Ironically, Dr. Lloyd actually began his career in education right here in Olmsted Falls School District, where he served as a school psychologist from 1995 to 1998.

Dr. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts degree in School Psychology from the University of Akron and a doctorate from Ashland University in Educational Leadership.  Dr. Lloyd is currently an adjunct professor for Baldwin-Wallace University. He has his Administrative and Superintendent Certificates from Cleveland State and Ashland respectively.  Dr. Lloyd and his wife, Rhonda, reside in the Olmsted community, and have three children who have all graduated from Olmsted Falls High School.
