UNOFFICIAL RESULTS UPDATE

As of 4/29/20, 2:30 AM

 3,489 FOR the levy (55%)

2,806 AGAINST the levy (45%)

(with 94% of requested absentee ballots reported)

Thank you to our OFCS Bulldog Community! According to UNOFFICIAL Board of Election results, as of April 29, 2020 at 2:30 a.m., the vote is 3,489 FOR the levy (55%), and 2,806 AGAINST the levy (45%), with 94% of requested absentee ballots reported.

Across the district's Cuyahoga County precincts, current data indicates that there were a total of 6,695 vote-by-mail ballots requested prior to the application deadline. With the current number of total ballots counted at 6,295, leaving 400 potential ballots still to be received and included in the total count.

While the local Boards of Election in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties continue to receive and count the votes, we are cautiously optimistic that this ballot issue will pass based on where things stand right now although no official decision has been communicated with us yet. The passage of Issue 29 means our school district will maintain the ability to provide our Triple A excellence, which has become a great source of pride for our community.

Thank you again to all those who worked to help educate voters on what was at stake with this important operating levy, to all those that attended the district's series of levy information meetings, and to all those that exercised your right to vote! On behalf of the students and staff of Olmsted Falls City Schools, we are truly grateful!

Thank you OFCS Community
