EASY WAYS YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL
Participate in the following initiatives and you help raise money that allows us to purchase useful products for our school, classrooms and teachers, which ultimately benefit our children! Thank you for participating.
Box Tops for Education
Clip Box Tops from hundreds of your family’s favorite products from General Mills, Betty Crocker®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, and more. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ to Olmsted Falls Middle School. Please send your clipped Box Tops to your child’s classroom, labeled with your child’s name and room number on the envelope or baggie. To learn more, visit www.boxtops4education.com.
Campbell's Soup Labels
There is a collection box available in the front office for collections of these labels too.
Paper Recycling at Olmsted Falls Middle School
The PTA paper recycling program at OFMS is in full force. The familiar green & yellow Paper Retriever bins are in the parking lot. Please encourage ALL your friends, neighbors and relatives to put their paper in the bin. Every time the bin is emptied OFMS will earn money while you help the environment!
You can recycle lots of different paper in the bin, much more than you can with curbside newspaper recycling. Just collect your items in a paper grocery bag (only these bags can be thrown in) or in a plastic bag or box, then dump the items into the bin (take the plastic bag or box home to reuse).
HERE IS WHAT CAN BE ACCEPTED IN THE BIN:
-Magazines & paperback books
-Posters & folders
-Self stick notes
-Junk mail & envelopes (don’t worry about the staples or plastic envelope windows)
-Shredded paper (please leave it in a tied plastic bag and poke a few holes in it)
The following items CANNOT be accepted:
-Plastic (EXCEPT the plastic bags holding shredded paper)
